With COYO Analytics, you gain important insights into user behavior and the performance of your posts.
In COYO Analytics, we make a distinction between three dashboards:
The overview
The homepage of COYO Analytics is a summary of all of the goings-on in your Digital Home. The dashboard gives you a clear overview of the relevant figures.
The total figures can be seen at first glance:
- Active unique users (last 24h / last 7 days / last 28 days)
- Highlights:
- Active Pages (total number of your Pages*)
- Active Communities (total number of your Communities*)
- Total number of all sent chat messages**
*All Pages/Communities are evaluated here, regardless of whether the visibility is set to "public", "protected", or "private".
**An evaluation of the content of the chat messages naturally does not take place and is also not possible due to encryption.
Adoption rate
The Adoption rate gives you an exact overview of the licenses used:
- Number of total licenses
- Number of used licenses
- Number of activated licenses
The used licenses are the ones where you have registered users.
The number of activated licenses shows how many of your users have logged into your Digital Home at least once.
Filter usage
Using the filters, you can flexibly set the time period and the user groups and thus evaluate the user behavior in detail. The individual reports of the dashboards show only the selected period and the selected user group according to your filters. If you do not select a user group, the entire company will be reviewed.
You can either use the preselected filters (last week/last month/this week/this month/this year) or select your own date limits. The trends that you see in the reports are always based on the interval of the selected period.
This means if you look at the last 7 days, the trend evaluates 7 days before, if you look at the month of March, the trend shows the comparison to February, etc.
The filter options for Location, Department, and Company are generated from the profile fields of your users. It is irrelevant whether the fields were filled manually or via an AD.
Note:
If a selection option remains empty, this field was not maintained in your Digital Home or there are less than 5 users with this profile property.
User activity
The user activity distinguishes two values:
- Consuming users
- Interacting users
With the mouse pointer, you can hover over the report and find out the precise figures per day.
The consuming users are the users who only read content on your platform or e.g. access documents. These users do not interact with other users.
The interacting users are the users who, in addition to consuming information, also react: They like posts, comment, or post themselves.

We take a close look at the reports for created content and content performance in the article COYO Analytics: Understand Reports.
Device use and audience
The last two reports on the dashboard give you an overview of how access is gained to your Digital Home and who accesses COYO.
The "Visits" show whether your users access COYO via the COYO app or via the browser. It should be noted here that the COYO Classic app is a WebView app and so counts as "web access".
The "Audience" can be filtered by company, department, or location. If there are no partner companies or subsidiaries, the option is shown in gray. This shows where the users of your platform come from. In our example, most of the users come from the "Software Engineering" department.
Note:
According to GDPR, user behavior can only be evaluated if it concerns a group of more than 5 people. All groups of less than 5 people are summarized under "Others".
Pages and communities
On the tabs "Pages" and "Communities", you’ll find the evaluation of how successful your Pages or Communities are. You are always shown the top 5. Under "Show more", more Pages/Communities can be displayed.
This function gives you an insight into what your users access particularly often so you can have a regular tidy up if Pages or Communities are no longer visited.
- Visits shows the total number of visits. Multiple visits by the same user are also counted in this.
- Unique visits shows how many users have visited the page once.
- The Average engagement rate shows how successful the Page or Community is. The number of interactions is evaluated in comparison to their reach. Engagement thus includes reactions ("Likes") to posts, comments, and shares.
For an even more detailed evaluation of the individual Pages or Communities, click on this to access further reports. Similar to the dashboard, you then get the total numbers for the respective page:
- Likes, comments, and shares
- The Page activity
- The individual performance of the posts ("Content performance")
- Visits and audience
Here, too, you can hover over the graphs with the mouse pointer for precise figures.
If you want to make these statistics available to your Page or Community admins, you can use the "Generate export" button to export all associated data. This is made available to you as an Excel list.
