java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
COYO cannot establish a connection to the LDAP server as it’s unable to resolve the path that it can use to the LDAP/Active Directory server.
- There could be a reverse proxy that’s blocking the connection.
- There could be a firewall between the servers that’s blocking the port.
- COYO can’t correctly resolve the host name of the LDAP server.
No subject alternative DNS name matching <hostname> found
COYO can check the host name in the SSL certificate when communicating with an LDAP server via SSL. This means that the host name used for the connection with the LDAP server must match that of the SSL certificate, otherwise COYO can’t establish a connection to the directory.
A further possible cause of this problem is if the option Synchronization > Follow referrals is activated in the user directory configurations for the connection to the LDAP directory.
