The basic rule for the mobile display is simple:
The elements are arranged according to the normal reading direction (from left to right) from top to bottom.
In this example, we have on our Homepage a HTML widget with an integrated Google Maps map, the welcome widget, a teaser, the newest messages, and a timeline.

However, depending on how you structure your Homepage, this can cause a good overview to suffer on mobile devices. This is precisely why there’s the option of hide certain, less important elements or those that require large volumes of data.
How do I hide elements for the mobile view?

If necessary, switch to moderator mode and activate the "Edit layout" function. To now hide elements for mobile use, move the mouse pointer over your widget:

The editing options open. By clicking on the icon with the crossed-out cell phone, the elements are not longer displayed on all mobile devices.

How can I tell whether an element is visible in the mobile view?
In normal mode, you can’t tell whether or not an element is also visible in the mobile view. Once you’ve activated editing mode, you can tell the hidden elements by the red cell phone icon.
