What are apps?
Admins of a page or community can equip it with additional functions. We call these functions apps. Each of these apps has its own features and use cases. Apps can, for example, manage documents or display wikis.
Apps vs. widgets
The distinction between apps and widgets is that widgets take information from apps and display this content.
What apps are there?
You can find an overview of all available apps in the Administration interface. There you also set which apps you want to activate for use on pages or in communities, or only approve for use by moderators.

Tips:
- You require certain permissions for this (access to Administration" + "Manage apps and widgets").
- Some apps allow various changes to be made in COYO and are thus not designed for the "standard user". As a result, it’s sensible to restrict some apps to experts. We recommend doing this for the following apps: Betting game.
- Newly added apps are initially deactivated by default. You need to actively add the checkmark here to make these usable. By the way, our newsletter allows you to be among the first to learn about our new features.
