The "New colleagues" widget shows you all of the new users who you’re not yet following. The suggestions in the widget are sorted chronologically by the date on which the users were created. The newest colleagues appear right at the top.
You are first shown three colleagues. Using the three dots at the bottom, you can load as many other colleagues who you’re not yet following as you like. Once you follow the new colleagues, these are no longer shown to you in the widget.
There is no time restriction on how long a colleague is considered new.
