First: General information about Workspaces
There are basically two approaches to the creation of a workspace - the first is very simple:
- The team organizes itself and develops the workspace along the tasks
- In advance, we will consider which tasks exist in the team and which apps in the workspace can help from the start. Then an initial set of tasks and examples will be provided in the workspace.
Whichever approach you decide to take: Give your employees the freedom to organize themselves in the workspace! This is the only way to ensure that the new environment is accepted! Let's now turn to the first example: creating a workspace with initial apps.
Step 1: Overview for updates & news
A timeline is the app of choice for coordinating and exchanging ideas. Single posts summarize important updates and the members of the workspace have the possibility to react to it. In this way, you also have the means to agree on initial rules, such as defining the team language.
Hint: We have renamed the timeline and wiki app while creating it to better illustrate its functions and tasks!
