Of course we perform regular backups for the COYO Cloud. We have answered the most frequently asked questions here.
How often does the backup run?
The backups run every night and always before new version updates.
Which backup options are in use for the cloud?
The backup process is incremental (database + file store) and is aggregated with previous backups. As a result you can afterwards recreate the last backup plus the backup only contains database entries and files. Content of other elements (e.g. search engine indices) are not saved.
What recovery times are required?
It depends on how big your data stock is. To give you an example: Our own COYO data folder is 83 GB in size and restoring from the backup (database + file store) takes about an hour. In addition, all indexes must be updated after a backup restore.
Can individual elements be restored?
It is not possible to restore individual items using a COYO Cloud backup.
