The browser developer tools are helpful tools that are included in every browser. They make it possible to analyse a website in terms of performance, network and other factors. This is interesting for every website provider.
How can they help with COYO?
In order for us to be able to help you as quickly as possible, it is very important for us to reproduce the described behaviour as precisely as possible. It always helps our technicians a lot if they can recognise which processes are running in the background by using the browser developer tools. Therefore the tools are very helpful.
This always depends on the browser you are using. We collected two examples for Chrome and Firefox:
Chrome
To create a recording of these processes, open your browser and go to your COYO page. Right-click on one of the free spaces and select the option "Examine". A new area appears in your browser window. Select the tab "Network" here. Reload the page manually with CTRL+R to start the console. If you now recreate the problem, various list entries appear in the left-hand menu of the console, one of those is displayed in red. Please click on the red entry and change to the tabs "Headers" and "Response" in the right menu navigation of the console. With screenshots of the contents of these two tabs, our technicians can see which processes are running in the background of the software. Please note that the entire content of the tabs is important.
