In the administration area you can define how older messages should be handled in the general settings. It is possible to archive messages after a certain period and/or to delete them permanently.
The Messages tab allows you to activate or deactivate this function. In the simplified mode you can make a simple specification in hours. With the advanced settings you can define a so called "Cron-Job".
Note: You can use a cron job to automate the time-based execution of processes in Unix and unix-like operating systems such as Linux, BSD or macOS and thus set finer gradations as hours. The default job defined in COYO is 0 0 * * * * *. With these settings the chat is deleted daily, always at 00:00 o'clock.
